We are excited to announce that our project Fosshagen Care Home is the winner of “Lier kommunes byggeskikkpris 2023” (Lier municipality prize for best building practice) !

Every other year, Lier municipality awards a prize to a building or outdoor facility that contributes to raising, renewing and developing the best local building practice. The award goes to home owners or builders who, through new buildings, extensions, rehabilitation works or through the development of outdoor facilities, show an exemplary case of good architecture and building practice.

We are very proud of our project for Fosshagen Care Home, which has been developed with the human in mind, as well as emphasis on professional care guidelines, flexible layout, logical functionality, good spatial design and a comprehensive, locally-adapted outdoor environment. The project also takes into consideration sustainable and adapted architectural solutions, where the respect for people and places constitutes its foundation. The place gains an identity of its own as a small-scale village structure with intimate spaces - inside and out. This creates homely and domestic architectural palette, with a sense of intimacy and belonging.
