The spiky church of Knarvik, previously nominated to the Mies-award, has reached new heights! Architizer announced their 2015-winners of the prestigious A+ Awards today and Knarvik Community Church is voted by the people as their favourite in the category for Religious Buildings and Memorials.
The project is being featured on Architizer's homepage and as a cover photo for the announcement – naming it one of their favourites among five presented.
We are thrilled to receive the first award of the church and grateful to all those who have given us their vote! (Did you know we were runner-up only days before the voting ended?)
Its distinctive and innovative character and central location makes it a landmark in the community, to be inviting and inclusive for all people to cultivate their faith throughout the week.
