Reiulf Ramstad Architects are prequalified for several exciting competitions this spring.
One of these assignments is the parallel mission for the area known as Fløyheia "Sjømannskolen”, a famous landmark for Arendal on the south coast of Norway. The school was originally designed by the Arendal-based architectural firm Ugland & Thorne who left their mark on Arendal and several other southern cities in Norway during the 50s and 60s. We compete with Snøhetta and Narud Stokke Wiig Architects in the competition for the public area owned by Arendal Municipality.
Another exciting proposal we are currently working on is for a mixed use complex combining library, bank and private residences in Nord-Odal in Norway.
We also participate in the competition for the Renovation and Renewal of Helsfyr Metro Station in Oslo.
