On Wednesday June 14th, architect Benedikt Hörmann, head of the Innsbruck office of Reiulf Ramstad Arkitekter, will lecture at The Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, in Germany.
The Lecture is part of the 2017 Skizzenwerk NORD summer lecture series. Weekly lectures at KIT with a special focus on Nordic architecture, design, urbanism and photography. “In addition to exciting insights behind the way the invited offices work, the visitor should be given the chance to make their own image of the Nordic Design and Architecture label. The offices show a wide range of approaches, disciplines and scales, and they have all defined what Nordic design means to them. From this we hope to find interesting, diverse and above all inspiring stories and views.”
The branch office in Innsbruck was opened in 2014 with Architekt Zt DI Benedikt Hörmann as Office Manager. This opened for an excellent opportunity of synergies and we are now a part of both the Scandinavian architecture market and a greater European architectural environment and tradition of The Alpine region of Europe: Austria, Switzerland, the Tyrol- area of Italy and also Germany. We believe our “New Nordic” ideas and values contributes positively to the established architectural traditions of the Austrian/ Swiss/ Alps area.
Benedikt Hörmann will go through a series of Reiulf Ramstad Architects projects, divided into thematic categories. This will include projects like Trollstigen National Tourist Route, Knarvik Community Church and Romsdal Folk Museum.
We are happy to be invited, and we are looking very much forward to see you in Karlsruhe!
