Site visit at De Molens Deinze, Flanders!
Finally we are able to follow our projects on site also outside of Norway! Happy to be back in Belgium to follow the development of De Molens for ATENOR, in a 50-50 partnership with 3D Real Estate
Reiulf Ramstad Architects are responsable for the Masterplan of this project and we are also architects for several of the buildings now under construction.
De Molens is a mixed project of 32,150 m² (residential, commercial and facilities) in the heart of Deinze, along the Leie, on the site of the former "Dossche" mills. The site, with an area of 2.14 hectares, enjoys a preferred location in the city center, near the station and the Tolpoort shopping street. Excellent accessibility both by public transport and by car makes the site particularly suitable for high-quality urban development.
A planning permit for a first part of the project was obtained at the end of 2020. This permit concerns the construction of an underground car park, 106 residential units and 765 m² of additional support functions to stimulate the project.
Once the demolition phase is complete, work could begin in October 2021 and will last 31 months. The provisional delivery of the first building is expected in August 2023.
